Hi, I'm Mrs. Podany and I am a proud Durant High School  alumnus and have also worked for Durant Schools for 17 years.  My professional education includes a bachelor's degree from SOSU in 2002 and graduate work in School Counseling through SOSU in 2005 and Administration through ECU. I live in Durant with my husband and have three beautiful daughters who are also DHS students and alumni. I work with all grade levels, but mainly Seniors, making sure they meet graduation requirements as well as helping them with their personal/social needs and postsecondary plans. Our doors are always open!

"If you plan for a year, plant a seed. If for ten years, plant a tree. If for a hundred years, teach the people. When you sow a seed once, you will reap a single harvest. When you teach the people, you will reap a hundred harvests."
