The mission fo the Durant Public Schools athletic program is to promote an environment that maximizes the development of character, teamwork, community, and school spirit.

Concluding Statement
The Durant Public School District believes that athletics have lifelong benefits to the individual as well as the community beyond the public school setting. Participation is a key factor that fosters a winning attitude necessary to be successful in athletic competition as well as in personal and professional endeavors.
