School year calendar
Each year, a calendar committee (as outlined in the Negotiated Agreement) meets and prepares the school calendar. The faculty votes and the Board of Education approves the official academic calendar for the upcoming school year.

Students do not attend school on the following days:
- scheduled holidays or breaks,
- teacher professional development days,
- teacher workdays,
- Oklahoma and Durant Education Association meeting days,
- reserved weather days (unless the day is needed to make up for an inclement weather day),
- or during parent-teacher conferences.
