Open Records Act

OSDE strives to make data collected from school districts easily available to educators and to the public through a variety of reports and datasets. Educators, elected officials, and other policymakers use our data to make decisions. This information can then provide support for students, help to develop school improvement plans or shape public education laws.  In accordance to 70 O.S. § 5-135.4 (OSCN 2016), School District Transparency Act, Laws 2010, SB 1633, c. 332, § 1, eff. November 1, 2010, district statements are made public by state mandate.

Web Content Accessibility

Durant Public School is dedicated to providing an accessible website for individuals with disabilities.  Currently, we are taking steps to convert our web pages to meet with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as proposed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).  The district's ultimate goal is to provide a website that achieves Priority 2 or AA conformance as prescribed by the W3C, while also complying with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
