Parent Information
It is very important that your child have the required immunizations, a birth certificate and a social security card to enroll in school. Student Handbooks are available in the office for information on the Oklahoma immunization law and other questions concerning our school.
If your child must miss school, please call the office and notify the teacher. Please make arrangements to pick up your child's work.
Faculty Spotlight
Mrs. Helen Gray has been a 2nd grade teacher for 36 years at Robert E. Lee Elementary. Mrs. Gray says,
"Children should be encouraged to think and to engage in tasks that motivate as well as challenge. During the 'wonder years', the learning situation is an activity-based approach which sees the learner as an active participant in the learning process. It allows children to move, touch, discuss, ask, and explore. Most importantly, teaching is giving one's heart courage, confidence, and inspiration to all the growing children entrusted in one's care."
