Test Smart!

This course is designed for the student who has serious interest in improving his or her scores on college entry exams. Course content will include preparation for the ACT, the ACT Writing Test, and some SAT and PSAT study. Students will learn better techniques for taking the test and overcoming test anxiety. Vocabulary and writing practice will be included. In addition, the curriculum will include two programs titled "10 Steps to College" and "Paying for College".

FAFSA on the web—FREE application for federal students aid. This Department of Education website is dedicated to helping students apply for financial aid with the FAFSA.
PIN request—Request a PIN number over the web. You will receive it through the mail a few weeks after you apply. You can use your PIN to correct your FAFSA over the Internet, sign future electronic financial aid applications on the Web, view information on the internet about federal loans and grants you have received.
College Scholarships—Lists college web sites and e-mail addresses, scholarship and financial aid search, and SAT /ACT test preparation tips.
FastWeb—Large free searchable scholarship database on the web.
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE)—Information on Oklahoma colleges and universities, admission standards, college costs, degree programs, financial aid and more.
Department of Education—website for career planning, higher education, and student financial aid.
