2007 Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Any student engaged in volunteer activity that occurred after September 1, 2005 ompletes application & submits to school principal before October 31, 2007. Application available in office or at www.prudential.com/spirit Deadline: October 31, 2007

Coca-Cola Scholarship

$10,000 scholarship Any senior expecting to graduate may apply. Deadline: October 31, 2007

Oklahoma Ready Mixed Concrete Association Essay Contest

Open to students 16-18 years old Possible themes are listed on entry forms Entry forms are available in the office or visit www.ormca.com for contest rules, registration forms, poster form and winning essays from previous years. Oklahoma winner will receive up to $1000 National winner will receive up to $5000 Deadline: November 10, 2007 postmark.

Toyota Community Scholars

School can identify one student with outstanding academic record, is an effective leader, and has a well documented record of service both within and outside the school.Interested students should contact counselors office. Deadline: November 15, 2007

Oklahoma Academic All-State

Minimum Criteria:ACT score 30 or above or SAT score 1350 or above or National Merit Semi-FinalistApplication in Office Essay Required. Deadline: December 1, 2007

SAE 2007 Engineering Scholarship

2007 Sam Walton Community Scholarship

$1000 non-renewable award for student’s first year of undergraduate study to an approved accredited college or university. Student cannot be a Wal-Mart or Sam’s associate or child of an associate. Application is available online from November 1, 2007 to January 12, 2008. Dayspring Church of Christ

$500 scholarship Student does not need to be a member of the church to qualify. Copy of college acceptance letter and resume required. Deadline: March 30, 2008

 
AMVETS National Scholarship Program

$4000 Scholarship Child or Grandchild of a Veteran who is a member of AMVETS US CitizenMinimum GPA of 3.0 Demonstrate academic promise and financial need Short Essay required. Deadline: April 15, 2008
