Technology

The Durant ISD Technology Department is responsible for the management of all technology and media services in the District.

DISD supports the highest level of Internet access for students and teachers. All students in the Durant School District are provided access to technology via computer labs, classroom pc's and mobile computing devices. All students, and parents must sign and follow the Internet Acceptable Use Policy as set forth by the District. Faculty members are also held to the IAUP.

Smart Classrooms are equipped with computing devices, an interactive panel, classroom audio, document camera, and wireless access. We believe that this access to technology resources provides the best learning environment for our students and teachers.

Durant High School and Durant Middle School are participating sites in the District 1:1 initiative which provides access or devices for every student. All students access curriculum, assignments and grades using Infinite Campus, our Student Management & Learning Management System.  Across the district, students use Chromebooks in the classrooms and PC's in our computer labs.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD High School ONLY)

Please see the school's tech for instructions on how to connect your BYOD device to the school's wireless network.

DISD Programming

The Durant school district provides 24/7 access to programming on our local cable station, provided by Vyve. If you currently subscribe to Vyve, you can tune in and see what is happening at our school sites. Channel 5 runs an on-going slide show of school events, student awards and announcements, as well as periodic athletic and fine arts events.

Many DISD events are also streamed live by KLBCFM.
