Durant ISD is committed to providing healthy, well balanced meals to our students. The District partners with Sodexo, a leading provider of quality food service across the nation for all meals served in our school district. Breakfast and lunch meals are provided with a focus on health, wellness, and good nutrition, and follow the nutritional requirements of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Our cafeterias offer fresh menu selections each day.
DURANT SCHOOL'S POLICY ON MEAL CHARGES:
We would like to encourage you to use MySchoolBucks for student deposits as much as possible. If you do not have digital access, payments may be dropped off at your school office or the district Child Nutrition office, at any time. However, payments will not be accepted in the cafeteria during meal service times, and change cannot be provided. We appreciate your consideration of our online service!

FEDERAL FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM
Durant Independent School District encourages parents to apply for the Federal free and reduced lunch program. Eligibility depends not only on income but number in household, and many of our students qualify for either free meals or meals reduced over 75% in price! You can now apply for free or reduced school meals online.

ONLINE PREPAYMENT SYSTEM
With current national attention being focused on children’s health and wellness issues, the Durant Public School District’s Food Service Department is excited to provide parents a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your child’s school meal account at any time through MySchoolBucks. Also, parents will have the ability to print a copy of their child’s eating history report. This history report will show you all dates and times that your child has purchased a breakfast and or lunch within the past thirty days. We are very excited to offer these new services, and are confident this new system will benefit you, your child and our District.

At Durant Middle School and Durant High School, students have the option of choosing a la carte menu items as well as the standard cafeteria choices.
