The mission of the Safe and Drug Free Schools program is to help ensure that children are mentally and physically ready to learn and have healthy and supportive families, and to promote a safe community by equipping individuals with skills, knowledge, standards and resources to live healthy lives. The program serves students and families through various programs, focusing on:

Early Dismissal and Closure
Durant Schools will be dismissing two hours early today, January 30th, based on your student’s normal dismissal time. Bus routes will also run 2 hours early. Please do not call your school unless you are unable to meet your student’s bus or pick up your student early. We will be also closed on Tuesday, January 31. This will not be a virtual day. Stay safe and warm and we will continue to update you as the week progresses!
Las Escuelas de Durant se cerraran hoy enero 30, dos horas mas temprano del horario normal. Por favor no llames a las escuelas a menos de que no puedas recoger al estudiante a la hora. Tambien las ecsuelas estaran cerradas el martes, enero 31. No Habra escuela virtual este dia. Mantente seguro y seguiremos informando algun cambio en los proximos dias.
