Oklahoma State Department of Education
Learn about state-wide education and the government entity that oversees it and view the Oklahoma Academic Standards.


Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education
The Regents play an important role in our student's transition from secondary education to higher education. Learn about many of the important programs they administer for students.


Southeastern Oklahoma State University
Located centrally to our campuses, Southeastern is a four-year, Masters-level university that partners with us by providing concurrent enrollment, many enriching academic programs, shared facilities, summer programs, and many other resources for our students.


Kiamichi Technology Center-Durant Campus
KTC-Durant provides full-time and short-time educational programs and services to secondary and adult students as well as customized training for business and industry. The KTC-Durant campus serves the communities in Bryan County as well as the following schools: Colbert, Calera, Achille, Rock Creek, Bennington, Silo, Durant, Victory Life, Caddo and Coleman.


Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma
Learn about programs and services available and the history of the Choctaw Nation. Durant ISD is proud to partner with the Choctaw Nation for Pre-K through 2nd grade summer school and many other services for students.  Our partnered summer school program is housed at Washington Irving Elementary,  and is designed to provide summer intervention in reading and math. The program runs Monday-Thursday for six weeks, staring the first week in June, and students must meet selection criteria to attend.
