REL Early Childhood Center

Robert E. Lee Early Childhood Center and its staff members serve all Pre-K students in the Durant School District. Our experienced and highly effective team of educators, provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. We work collaboratively with families to ensure our Little Lions are provided with learning experiences that build a foundation for lifelong learning.

REL doors open at 7:30 a.m. and school begins at 7:50 a.m. Morning drop off occurs on Louisiana Street. School personnel will be at this entrance to assist students when entering the building. Parents are asked to remain in their vehicle while in the drop-off line. Those who choose to walk their student up to the building, should park in the Calvary Baptist Church parking area.

REL dismissal time is 2:30 p.m. We have two pick up areas on either side of REL: Blue Zone on the south side and Red Zone on the north side – teachers will inform you as to your student’s assigned zone. Parents may drive through the pick-up line or park and walk to meet their student. Thank you for remaining in your vehicle while in the pick-up line and for pulling to the parking area to assist your student in buckling their seatbelt.
